Privacy
DripSnitch helps Roblox creators find copies of their items. This page explains what we collect and why. We never ask for your Roblox password or cookie, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account details when you sign in with Discord or Google: your email address, display name and profile picture.
- Items you check: the Roblox item IDs you scan and the results, so we can show your history and enforce plan limits.
- How the site is used: pages you open, sections you scroll to, buttons you click, scans you run, and how long you stay. We use this to understand what works and to fix what doesn't.
- Technical details: device type, browser and operating system, approximate country, region and city, and the site or campaign that sent you here. Usage events store a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
- IP address: we keep your IP address briefly to enforce free-scan limits (up to 2 days) and to stop sign-in abuse, and we store the last IP you signed in from on your account to protect it.
- Payments are handled by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). We receive your plan, status and email, never your card details.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies only: ds_session keeps you signed in (30 days), ds_vid is a random visitor ID for usage analytics (1 year), ds_sid groups one visit (30 minutes), and ds_oauth protects the sign-in flow (10 minutes). We don't use advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
Usage events are kept for 90 days. Account details are kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your details within 30 days.
Who can see it
Only the DripSnitch team. We use service providers to run the site (hosting, database, payments, email sign-in through Discord or Google), and they only process data to provide their service to us.
Age
DripSnitch accounts are for people aged 13 and over. If you're under the age required in your country to agree to this on your own, ask a parent or guardian first.
